We founded Megwear in our home basement, after a last minute cancellation from another printer left Tim Megenbier Jr (Timmy) without a race suit only days before competing in an important race. Fed up with the low quality of service, his father Tim Megenbier Sr. bought the necessary equipment and simply did the job himself. As the years went on and fellow racers began to notice our quality of work, we grew our hobby into a profession and officially opened our doors for business in the year 2000. In 2006, after Timmy competed in the World Finals race car driving event and became the Highest Finishing North American in World RotaxMax History, Timmy decided to hang up the car keys for good and focus on the family business. Timmy sold his fancy race car shortly after and used the money to buy Megwear’s first embroidery machine, officially moving past just printing and into a wider variety of apparel. Since then, Megwear has helped thousands of businesses and events design their attire professionally, while still maintaining our core values of impeccable service and quality apparel.
